They are one you can eat in a single bite.
Oreo’s unique texture and unique flavour makes them great for baking.
They’re delicious, easy to make and can be eaten as a breakfast, lunch or dessert.
I love Oreo and I love baking cupcakes.
But when I’m craving something a little different, I have to try out something a bit different.
Today I’m sharing an Oreos cupcake that is a little bit different, with a little twist.
It’s chocolate filled, Oreos twist.
Oreos chocolate filled Oreos Cupcakes Recipe Ingredients: 1.8 cups of chocolate chips 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 3 eggs 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature 2 cups sugar 2 large eggs 1 1 1 cups flour 2 cups chocolate chips, chopped (optional) Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line cupcake pans with cupcake liners.
Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, eggs and eggs until combined.
Beat in chocolate chips.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, chocolate chips and eggs.
In another bowl, beat in the egg whites and beat again.
Stir in chocolate.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack before removing from pans.
If you prefer to use a stand mixer, use a wooden spoon to stir the batter in until smooth.
Transfer to cooling rack and chill.
Oreomos twist Recipe: In a large bowl, combine eggs, chocolate and 1/3 cup of flour.
Beat on low speed until well blended.
Reduce speed to medium and beat in vanilla extract.
Beat until incorporated.
Add in chocolate and continue beating.
Gradually add in remaining flour, scraping down sides of bowl to remove any excess.
Add chocolate chips after each addition.
Add vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture and beat until smooth and creamy.
Add more flour to make it thicker.
Scoop a ball of Oreomons twist into each cupcake liner.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
You may need to remove cupcakes from the oven after 20 minutes or so.
Cool on wire racks before serving.
To make the chocolate filling, combine 1/6 cup of butter, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2 teaspoons of salt in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Remove from heat and whisk in eggs.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Whisk in chocolate until smooth, then add the remaining cocoa powder.
Reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, whisking occasionally.
Remove the chocolate from the heat and cool slightly before removing it from the pan.
Combine the remaining 1/5 cup of sugar, salt and vanilla in a medium saucepan and bring to a low boil.
Remove to a bowl and whisk to combine.
Remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes: You can substitute the vanilla extract for cocoa powder, if you prefer, or you can use a standard vanilla bean extract.
